i moved where my heart had drifted off to long before. i live on a hill of hundred acres, where my dreams have merged with the view. it is quiet from machine noises yet loud with sounds of horses, dogs, cats chickens and ducks. nature is the true artist in resident and i am just her apprentice who often gets lost in her gaze. once and a while i travel back to cities and foreign places to put into photographs what i have learned, yet always, part of my heart is left on the hill..

This is one of my favorite quotes. Since I was really young I was influenced into thinking that it is always important to finish what you started. While this is true of somethings in many cases it proves to be false and a heavy weight. At least to me it was something really heavy weighing down on my conscience. Now I try to step back and view what it is that I am aiming for in life and discontinue any activities that are leading me in circles or causing deviation from my main goal.

This is a wonderful quote. I hadn't heard it before. I feel like I need to jot it down and carry it around with me...as a reminder.
